September: 10-on-10

The first of August began with mixed emotions, mostly because it meant in less than a month we'd be back to school. & now here we are, two weeks into school. With each year these kids get older, time slips faster & faster. While our summer days are documented to prove we did actually do something over the past three months, it feels like I only blinked. I don't mean to imply the days were easy, quiet, or calm. Mostly they felt like organized chaos. But even in the longest, loudest, craziest of them all, I'd take one-hundred more, starting now.

July: 10-on-10

Today someone asked me what we've been doing this summer. I laughed, and responded with an honest, "I don't know." These days seem to be slipping through the cracks even quicker than during the school year. Sure, we've done a lot, but we've also enjoyed a lot less to do. It's been much-needed by all. & late bedtimes mean splashing in mud puddles at 10:00pm.

June: 10-on-10

The boys' last day of school felt like the first day of summer. The sun welcomed us to a late night fire, & the bubbles were busted out. Here's ten from thirty minutes in the front yard.
