Remember our advent calendar, the one we pulled out a couple days late, but still enjoyed for (almost) all 24 days before Christmas.
Remember our tree, the one you boys took turns placing the star on top of (technically a snowflake), & all the lights & snowflakes you helped hang on it.
Remember the day we got twister, how twisted up you three got with one another, resulting in deep belly laughs.

Remember your camera, Ry, that you loved to tote around with you, & then one day we found it sitting on the birdhouse. We weren't sure how long it sat in the weather, but we were certain it was no longer functioning. 
Remember when our Elf on the Shelf didn't return. Instead, we were visited by this sweet little Elf of Kindness.

December 16th. Our annual allergy testing. December 17th. Late-night hotel snacking.
December 18th. Attempting to entertain, while we wait in the doctor's office.
December 19th. Heading home- when you live on an island, you fly a lot.
December 20th. Hoping to save his duck's prints.
December 21st. Harbor light show.
December 22nd. High-fives with Great-Grandpa.
December 23rd. Contemplating her next move.
December 24th. Impromptu grandkid Christmas carol jam.
December 25th. His favorite Christmas present.
December 26th. We finally got some good snow.
December 27th. Watching the rain wash away that good snow.
December 28th. I like his suit coat.
December 29th. Today he told me he wants to be a paleontologist.
December 30th. Ice skating, first time this year.
December 31st. It was a good year.
















December 1st. She's sizing herself up on the growth-chart wall. December 2nd. Starting our Advent Calendar just two days late.
December 3rd. He colored a turkey at school.
December 4th. Looking for her chickens.
December 5th. Box-car races.
December 6th. Very serious cookie production around here.
December 7th. Hanging at Nanny & Papa's.
December 8th. Last bike rides until the snow melts.
December 9th. Reading.
December 10th. This is home.
December 11th. She's quite proud of climbing to her brother's top bunk.
December 12th. My attempt at spying on their cooperative, content play time.
December 13th. Always up on something.
December 14th. Christmas is my favorite.
December 15th. Airport entertainment.
